Meet Nosey! This sweet, resilient girl had a rough start to life, having been rescued alongside her brothers from a discarded rice bag. Today, she has put her past behind her and is thriving. Nosey is a huge fan of tasty treats and absolutely loves spending her days exploring the great outdoors.

Meet Romona! This incredibly loving girl was found on a busy main road in rough shape with a swollen belly. She cried out for help so much that her vocal pleas actually inspired her name! Despite her uncomfortable start in life, Romona has nothing but love to give and absolutely thrives on human companionship.

Say hello to Junior! Born in the safety of the sanctuary to a rescued mom, Junior is an independent, semi-feral guy who is perfectly content in his sanctuary home. He likes to keep to himself and enjoy his surroundings, but you can always catch his attention by offering him his ultimate weakness: a tasty liver treat!

This incredibly friendly girl is a lover of the great outdoors and fine dining, especially if paté is on the menu. But her absolute favorite part of the day is her daily chat. Grey is a wonderful listener who genuinely looks forward to having sweet, personal conversations with her humans every single day.

Meet Pearl! Rescued alongside his brother Cloudy, this handsome boy has been an absolute joy to raise. Pearl is a major cuddle bug who is never shy about letting you know when it is mealtime. If you hear him chatting away, there is a good chance he is politely requesting a serving of his absolute favorite food, paté.

Meet Suzy! She originally came to us from the east coast just for a routine spay, but she decided she never wanted to leave. Today, she is a permanent and deeply loved member of the sanctuary family. Suzy spends her days happily exploring the outdoors, but when night falls, her favorite place to sleep is snuggled up safely right beside us.

Meet Cloudy! Along with his brother Pearl, he was rescued as a kitten and brought to safety. Cloudy had quite the adventure early on while living in Leonora, where he once got stuck on a roof trying to hide from other cats. Since moving to the sanctuary, he has put on healthy weight and truly blossomed. Cloudy loves spending time outdoors and is an incredibly sweet boy who is deeply loved by everyone here.

Meet Socks! This boy has an absolutely wonderful personality and a daily routine you can practically set your watch to. Rescued as a kitten and raised right here at the sanctuary, he seeks out his caretakers every day at 2:30 PM sharp for dedicated bonding time, sticking around happily until his 4:30 PM dinner. He is a cat you simply cannot say no to! Socks does require a little extra medical care to manage his kidney stones, which just makes him even more special and deserving of all the love he receives.

Meet Leonora! Found as a tiny kitten on the Leonora market road, this smart girl was named after the place she was rescued. Today, her caretaker is her entire world. She is a deeply bonded companion who spends her days and nights staying close to her mama. Leonora even knows how to knock on the door when she is ready for a visit! When it comes to food, she has excellent taste and absolutely loves steamed shrimp, baked chicken, paté, and tempting treats.

Meet Emi Love! This sweet girl is the definition of a relaxed companion. She is wonderfully quiet and prefers to spend her days catching up on her sleep. Emi Love is a completely no fuss cat who enjoys the simple things in life, especially a good belly rub and a delicious meal of fish or paté.

Meet Lil Man! Rescued late at night from the East Bank, this sweet boy is now living his absolute best life. He is incredibly playful, full of love, and has one very unique quirk: he wants to spend all day perched right on your shoulder! Lil Man is a wonderful, happy companion who just wants to be as close to his humans as possible.

Meet Zulu! As our third rescue dog, this resilient seven year old boy wandered in from the streets of Leonora looking for a meal. He had a rough start and was suffering from severe mange, taking a full three weeks to build up the courage just to enter the yard. After a few months of dedicated care, his beautiful coat fully grew back. Today, Zulu absolutely loves his life and is a shining example of what a little patience and love can do.

Say hello to Gravy! She showed up at our front gate as a puppy over the Christmas holiday, waiting politely for a meal every single morning. It did not take long before her daily visits turned into her officially moving in. Now a happy one year old, this beautiful girl might not have found an outside adopter, but she certainly found her forever family at the sanctuary.

Say hello to Ollie! Rescued from the Leonora market as a tiny puppy after her siblings cried out for help, Ollie has overcome a tough start to life. Now, she is a vibrant and exceptionally friendly dog. She loves making new human friends, going for long walks in the park, and starting every morning with her absolute favorite treat, liver.

Meet Elvie! On one stormy day right around Christmas, this lovely girl was weak, starving, and desperately seeking shelter. When we offered her some food, she immediately wanted to come inside, eventually jumping the fence just to escape the pouring rain. We had seen her walking the streets before but finally realized she was homeless. Now spayed and safe, she has been with us for six months. While it is clear she has been a mother in the past, today she is just a wonderful, loving dog enjoying her second chance.

Say hello to Suru! This wonderful six year old girl was rescued as a tiny pup in Leonora with her brothers, Guru and Fisher. While she requires some extra care for her eye problems, Suru is an absolute sweetheart who is deeply loved by everyone here. If you really want to make her day, just offer her a long, relaxing belly rub.

Say hello to Foxy! This six year old boy was rescued as a puppy and is now a beloved full time resident of the sanctuary. He is famous around here for his adorable habit of hanging out with the cats. Thanks to an old injury to his paws from when he was young, Foxy has a very quirky and endearing way of walking that just makes him even more lovable.

Suga is our resident smiler! She and her sister Honey arrived when they were only four months old, and now at six years old, Suga is as happy as can be. She has a permanent grin that brightens the entire yard. She loves her comforts and spends most of her time happily relaxing in the hammock or resting in her cozy bed.

Bridge was rescued under a bridge as a puppy with his mom Brown Girl. He is a mama's boy. He adores us too. He grew up in the house and now he lives at the sanctuary with the cats. He loves food. He looks forward to his snacks in the afternoon. He enjoys laying on a shelf where the wind blows through. Sometimes when you are not looking he sneaks a sleep on the bed. He is very funny and loving.

Mixer is the hero of her sibling group. When she, Ollie, and Professor were struggling puppies covered in ticks and fleas at the Leonora market, her loud cries ensured they were found and saved. Now a beautiful five year old sanctuary resident, she enjoys the finer things in life. Mixer is a proud picky eater who prefers a custom menu featuring her top choices of chicken and liver.

Meet Karla! This sweet six year old girl had a heartbreaking start when she was abandoned late in her pregnancy. Because she was so far along when she was rescued, she safely gave birth to her puppies before officially moving to the sanctuary. Today, Karla is living a wonderfully happy and peaceful life. She is a gentle, uncomplicated dog who absolutely lives for the days when her caretaker comes to visit.

Meet Collin! This handsome boy was once roaming the streets completely on his own. At just six months old, he started showing up every morning right at feeding time. Eventually, he decided to just move in! Collin is a unique soul who enjoys his freedom to come and go exactly as he pleases, knowing there is always a safe home and a meal waiting for him. He is an excellent watch dog and, despite his street roots, has developed into quite the picky eater!
